The closest I’ve been to replicating this is creating a battle with 1 AI opponent and 1 AI ally. I then just select 1 unit and hide it in a forest. From there I can zoom out and watch the action unfold. You can add more AI armies in cutom battle. You can have a battle of 3 vs 2 armies (and you are the 6th army with one unit hidden in the forest)
